March Newsletter 2011

Dear Stitchers,
March got here sooner than I expected- with all the snow that we have been getting daily, I didn't realize that February was over.
Still very cold here, with rain, snow, wind and an occasional sunbeam or two.
I will be SO happy when Spring finally pops in to stay a while.

Some exciting announcements
First of all, my son and daughter-in-law, are excepting a baby, in July. They are pretty sure, after an ultrasound, that it is a girl. It is nice to know this, so that we can stop buying things in yellow and green, and go for some pinks!
My granddaughter, Melina is very happy, as she has been making wishes that it would be a baby sister. Melina just turned five.

Second announcement, is that FINALLY, after months of searching, I have adopted a new Furbaby! This is a small, female Cavachon, nearly five months old, named Belle. She is a sweet little thing, and is already making her presence known in our household.

The Spring Counted Wishes festival was so much fun, with wonderful designers listing new products. It is always nice to see what lovely things designers come up for us.
I hope that all of you found something to add to your stash, and enjoyed the goody bag, games, prizes and special classes.
The Fall Counted Wishes festival will be here before we know it, on August 1st, and I hope to see you all there again.

Oregon/Washington GTG

February was our month for the local GTG, and we had quite a few new faces. I am always excited to meet new stitchers, and to see all my friends again.
As always, we had a great time, chatting, eating, laughing, snacking, show & telling, laughing and eating. I can hardly wait until the next one!
